PAPUA BALIEM VALLEY TOUR 05 DAYS/04 NIGHTS

DAY 1 : JAKARTA - BALI - JAYAPURA

Arrival at Sentani Airport of Jayapura, the capital city of Papua, meeting service,then transfer to hotel for overnight.


DAY 2 : JAYAPURA - WAMENA - SUMPAIMA - JIWIKA

After breakfast at hotel, early in the morning depart to Wamena by small aircraft, a village located in the Baliem Valley. The valley inhabits around 100.000 primitive Dani Tribes,living in the tiny settlements scattered evenly throughout the broad valley floor. It is the most accessible area of the central highlands. First visit is the local market in Wamena, Afterwards visit Jiwika willage , passing through luscious foliage, then to Sumpaima, witnessing the well preserved mummified body of the village. Overnight simple losmen.



DAY 3 : JIWIKA - SALTMINE- KONTILA CAVE - WAMENA

After breakfast,visit Salt Mine, studying century aged traditional way of salt production by Dani Woman., then down back to Jiwika by visiting Kontilola Cave. Afternoon return to Wamena.


DAY 4 : WAMENA - JAYAPURA

After breakfast,flight back to Jayapura , Arriving at Sentani airport in Jayapura, proceed for city tour visiting World War II General Arthur Memorial , the Crocodile farm, and Hamadi Market. Overnight at Hotel.


DAY 5 : JAYAPURA - NEXT DESTINATION

After breakfast,free time tilll to be transferred to the airport for next destination.
